Celebrate the 'Harry Potter' Book Series

Apparate to the library to celebrate "Harry Potter!" In conjunction with "Harry Potter" Book Night on Thursday, Feb. 4, the library will celebrate all week long with crafts and activities for all ages from Feb. 1 through Feb. 5 in the children's areas and adult services desks at all three libraries to relive the magic of the book series.

Chamber Music at the Library: Brass Quintet (95th)

DuPage Symphony Orchestra will present a free, fun-filled evening of chamber music. The informal performance will include an engaging question-and-answer session with the musicians after the performance. This program is presented in partnership with DuPage Symphony Orchestra.

Movie lovers can visit the library each month for a screening of a newly released DVD. Skip the long lines at the theater as well as the long hold lists at the library and see a movie with other like-minded film buffs. Check the library's website, naperville-lib.org, for upcoming titles. No one younger than age 18 will be admitted to an R-rated movie without a parent or guardian.

Stitching in the Stacks (NBL)

Stitch with the library's community knit, crochet and needlecraft group. This season's Pay it Forward community project will be knitting or crocheting 7 x 9 inch Afghan squares to create blankets to donate to Family Shelter Services. Knitters also can bring their own projects to work on with fellow crafters. All skill levels may attend, and experienced crafters are welcome to share their expertise and work with staff to help beginners.

Start Your Own Book Club (95th)
