Using Gmail, attendees can set up their own email in class, learn to send and receive messages, attach and retrieve pictures and documents, keep email files organized and control unwanted emails.

College Illinois! 529 Prepaid Tuition Information
The college Illinois! Prepaid tuition program allows parents and guardians to set up a plan to pay for college tuition and mandatory fees at current contract rates to avoid tuition inflation. The program was created to help make college a reality for Illinois residents by providing a plan of action to prepare for college. A representative from ISAC will visit the library to explain the program and answer any questions. This program is presented in partnership with ISAC.

English conversation groups for ESL students (NSL)

These groups are designed to give English-as-a-second-language students a change to practice their skills in a relaxed and comfortable environment. All adult learners can attend the free groups, and one does not have to attend every session.

Arduino workshops(NSL)

Arduino Workshops: Motor Projects - Use code to control both hobby and servo motors.
Interested in coding and electronics but don't know where to start? Arduino microcontroller boards can be easily programmed using a variant of the c programming language. They receive inputs from a variety of switches or sensors to control lights, motors or other outputs. Arduino projects can be as simple as a light blinking on and off or as complex as a robot or smart thermostat. During these workshops, individuals can write and compile code to bring a variety of projects to life using the arduino uno and various electronic components.

Afternoon workshops are open to teens in 6th through 12th grades, while evening workshops are open to both teens and adults. No prior electronics or programming experience is required.

Great Decisions Discussion Group(NBL)
