Individuals seeking creative motivation can learn about the popular and crafty social media site, Pinterest. They will learn how to create their own Pinterest account, the definition of pinning and how to upload images and videos to pin. Participants also can explore ideas from others for inspiration. Stitching in the stacks(NSL)

Stitch with the library's community knit, crochet and needlecraft group. Crafters can bring their own project or pay it forward by knitting or crocheting red scarves using any pattern for collegiate foster students. Scarves will be donated to the Red Scarf Project of Foster Care to Success to be included in their student care packages.
Bring machine washable worsted weight acrylic soft red yarn and US size 8, 9 or 10 knitting needles or H, I or J crochet hook. The Eastland Disaster (95th)

This summer marks the 100th anniversary of the tragic Eastland Disaster. On July 24, 1915 in Chicago,the SS Eastland, a passenger ship used for tours,rolled over while tied to a dock in the Chicago River killing 844 passengers and crew. Dave Nelson,Eastland historian and grandson of a Chicago welder that assisted in the Eastland rescue efforts, will share a documentary he produced about this tragic
event. In this documentary, attendees will hear special stories of survivors and see unbelievable artifacts that have been found.
