Upcoming Computer classes

NOTE:There is a non-refundable, non-transferable attendance fee for each class that must be paid at the time of registration.You can transfer to another class with one week's advance notice. If you cannot attend a class for any reason, please let the Computer Lab staff know so that we can offer the spot to someone on the waiting list.
Classes are appropriate for adults and students grade 8 and above. Classes are limited to 12 participants. Stop by the Computer Lab desk at any of our facilities for more information and to register! All computer classes requires advanced registration
The fee for group classes are:

Holiday Sing-Along - FREE (95th)

Stop in and sing along to classic holiday songs. Carolers will be recorded along with other singers, and the song will be posted online. Appropriate for all ages, but limited to 12 participants.

4-Day Senior Computer Camp (95th)

Senior adults can attend this four-day camp to learn the basics of computers, including learning the terminology and practicing the skills. The camp will consist of four, two-hour classes. Program requires advanced registration.


Day 1 - Meet Your Computer - Tuesday, Jan. 20 Participants will be introduced to different parts of the computer, including mouse and keyboard operation, desktop navigation, basic computer operation and file management.

Using Gmail, attendees can set up their own email in class, learn to send and receive messages, attach and retrieve pictures and documents, keep email files organized and control unwanted emails.
