Naperville Public Library was recently awarded a major financial
education grant as part of the Smart Investing @ your library®
program, sponsored by the Financial Industry Regulatory
Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation and the American
Library Association. The goal of NPL's two-year grant, titled
Learn Save Invest, is to establish the Naperville Public Library
as a first-stop community resource for financial education.
Public libraries are uniquely positioned to provide effective,
unbiased investor education resources and programming. NPL's
Learn Save Invest program will offer training sessions, online
tutorials, education modules, and website enhancements. Quality
financial programming will address topics related to saving,
investing, and financial planning. Partnerships with local civic
and educational organizations will support the Library's
increasing role in improving financial literacy.
As one of only 13 libraries in the nation receiving Smart
Investing @ your library® grant funding, NPL is proud to be part
of this pioneering investor education project. This program is
made possible by a grant from the FINRA Investor Education
Foundation through Smart Investing @ your library®, a
partnership with the American Library Association.
