Julie Rothenfluh, Deputy Director
Julie Rothenfluh has more years experience than she cares to admit as a librarian in Wisconsin, California and Illinois, including more than 15 years at the Naperville Public Library. Her roles at Naperville Public Library have included Library Manager at the 95th Street Library and Children’s Services Supervisor at the Nichols Library. Rothenfluh earned her Master of Library Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
What is your favorite thing about working for Naperville Public Library?
The people – both the staff and our users They all appreciate what a library has to offer and the critical role it plays in a community.
What one service offered by NPL would you promote?
Family Reading Request – just fill out a quick questionnaire about the reading interests of your children and staff will pull a collection of books that you can use for a trip or a family reading activity.
What is your favorite book?
I am a big Stephen King fan, but one of my favorite books to recommend is a teen book, The Power of One, by Bryce Courtenay.
