Celebrate the DIY (do-it-yourself) and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) movements with an afternoon filled with demonstrations and hands-on activities for all ages.

Maker Fair

Maker Central

Meeting Rooms A/B/C, noon – 4 p.m.

Visit booths from local maker organizations and learn about the ways people are making in the community! Pick up a passport at the check in booth and visit each booth for the chance to enter our prize drawings!

3-D Printing Class

Lookout Room, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

Learn how an idea can become a real object with the Library's 3-D printer.
* For children in 3rd through 6th grades. Program is limited to 10 participants.

Fiber Arts

Children's Program Room, noon – 4 p.m.

Check out the library’s sewing and embroidery machines, or learn to finger knit or hand crochet at this drop-in program for all ages.

Build a Launcher

Children’s Department, noon – 2 p.m.

Participants can build a launcher and see how far they can launch their items!

Origami Fun

Children's Makerspace, noon – 2 p.m.

Participants can try their hand at origami for a variety of skill levels. Drop-in program for all ages.

Drop in Robotics

Children’s Program Room, noon – 2 p.m.

Drop in to play with robots and try basic coding activities. For all ages.

Crafts for all ages

Children’s Maker Space, noon – 4 p.m.

Drop in crafts for all ages, while supplies last.

Tech Take Apart

Children’s Program Room, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Take apart technology and see what it’s made of!
*Program is limited to 12 participants ages 10-18 years old.
