Reserve a Meeting Room

Each of the three Naperville Public Library locations has meeting rooms that may be reserved in advance during normal library hours.

  • Advance reservation required
  • Rental fees apply
  • 3.5 hour blocks of rental time
  • Choice of rooms that can accommodate between 12 and 150 people
  • Make up to two reservations per week

Reservation requests must be submitted through SPACES, our online reservation system, up to three months prior to a proposed meeting date. Users will first need to set up an account and create an organization before space may be reserved.

Note: Users who need projection will be required to use a computer supplied by the Naperville Public Library. Due to limited technical support it is not possible to utilize your own devices, including laptops, to connect to the projector. Please use a flash drive or cloud based storage. DVDs can also be projected through the meeting room computer.

Small Rooms for work or study

We have quiet rooms for you to use as a place to work or study.

  • First-come, first-served basis
  • No fee
  • For individuals or small groups
  • Limited period of time

Small Room Rules:

  • Sign-in for room use may be required. The person who signs for the room is responsible for the condition of the room upon vacating. Misuse of the rooms may result in the loss of room privileges.
  • There is a one-hour per use time limit on the small rooms when others are waiting for a room. Library staff may extend time when no one is waiting for a room.
  • Each small room has a capacity limit which is posted for the room.
  • The library reserves the right to limit the use of group study rooms to Naperville Public Library cardholders as necessary.
  • Library staff may reserve a small room or rooms when administering an examination under the provisions of Policy 252, Examination Proctoring, or to provide other library activities or services.
  • The library’s General Rules of Conduct, Policy 310, must be observed while using the small rooms.

Q: How do I book a meeting room?

Q: How far in advance can I reserve a meeting room?
A: You can reserve meeting rooms up to 3 months in advance .
Q: I need a room today; can I do that?
A: Individuals or small groups may use library study rooms at no charge on a walk-in basis only, depending on availability, and must check-in with the desk in advance of use.

For larger meetings you can rent both Meeting Rooms A and B. Located on the main level, these rooms will accommodate up to 150 people depending on the configuration. A piano is available for a fee.
