Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code is an organization for teens entering 6th through 12th grades.  The club meets August through May of each school year at the 95th Street Library.

Teen Winter Reading Contest

December 18 - January 15

Simply read a book or listen to an audiobook, and then login to ReadSquared and submit the title and author. Participants will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a winter reading themed prize basket. Teens can submit up to four titles.

The contest is open to students in grades 6-12 who either have a Naperville Public Library card or attend school in Naperville (including Districts 203 & 204).

This seminar is designed to share the best practices of the college admissions, financial aid and career planning process with families. College bound students in 8th through 12th grades are invited to attend with their families. January 31 - Huntington Learning Center will provide a workshop for parents on how to help their children manage homework and study times at home. During the workshop, parents will learn how to structure their children’s time and environment to improve homework performance. Effective technique for studying will also be introduced and demonstrated. There will be opportunities throughout the presentation for questions and answers. Both parents and students are welcome and encouraged to attend. This program is presented in partnership with Huntington Learning Center. *Program requires advance registration.
